Full attention was given to the youth of disaster area for enabling them to perform their role in management of disaster. Volunteer were recruited to perform different rescue and relief task, they were trained to conduct survey, assist in provision of medical treatment, to control and extinguish fire in camps. A young leader workshop was also conducted to make them deal with the situation effectively. The objectives of that workshop were to enable the youth for a role in reconstruction and rehabilitation process. The performance of the volunteers were remarkable, their involvement in program made them active survivor instead of a hopeless victims. Their role in conducting survey, establishing distribution network, identification of needy and providing them the help they required is appreciable.
