Kashmir Research &
Resource Center

We live in an age of ontological politics and it has never been more urgent to have access to information than now. Yet, more and more of it ends up being behind paywalls or ends up getting wiped from public memory just because some find it inconvenient. All this is especially true for Kashmir.

It is, therefore, imperative for Kashmiris to take ownership of as much information about Kashmir as possible and disseminate it to those who seek it as effectively as possible.

Almost a 100 years ago the cry Kashmir for Kashmiris was raised by some, in that spirit if anyone should be a custodian of information and data on Kashmir it should be Kashmiris. So, Kashmiri data in Kashmiri hands!
